October Programs ARTS at King Street Station

Each month we invite the community to upcoming events at ARTS at King Street Station. Join artists from the We Still Dream a Future cohort and KSS Advisors for free art and learning experiences designed to help us dream, learn, and grow. View our events calendar for more information.

ARTS at King Street Station is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 AM–5 PM and until 8 PM on Thursdays in 2026. Admission is always free. The gallery is located at 303 S Jackson St, Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.


First Thursday Art Walk

Oct. 1, 5–8 PM

Join us for Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Artwalk! The evening will feature an interdisciplinary fashion show and installation by Heidi Grace Acuña alongside their exhibition Buwaya Baby.

In addition, you can catch a last look at A Legacy Illuminated: Black Theater in the Pacific Northwest before the exhibition closes on Oct. 3.


Grief Rituals: reflections on migration and mourning

Oct. 3, 11:30 AM–6 PM

Little Brown Language leads a multi-sited performance and neighborhood procession exploring migration as a form of loss that shapes cultural encounters, ancestral memory, and translation. Mixing dance, song, poetry, and visual art, the group will activate key locations from Seattle’s Chinatown International District to King Street Station and Waterfront Park.


Sound Medicine for Liberation and Healing

Oct. 8, 6–7:15 PM

Now, more than ever, we need opportunities to rest, release grief and rage, gather in safe space, feel supported, and give our nervous systems a chance to shift into the “safe and connected mode.” Through this series of sound medicine offerings, artist Tory Trujillo supports our collective healing, grounding, and restoration.


The Dreaming Room: Soundscapes for Deep Rest

Oct. 15, 6–7:30 PM

This community-rooted concert series is designed to support nervous system recovery, emotional release, and collective connections through sound meditation, music, and storytelling. Come rest and connect over the course of this renewing series, every other month on the third Thursday between February and December.


Buwaya Baby: Dedicated Karaoke Night with Lia Duz It

Oct. 22, 6–8 PM

Karaoke is loved by Filipinos across the world– seen at family parties, backyards, sari-sari stores, the beach, or anywhere with a speaker. Host Lia Duz It and Heidi Grace Acuña invite you to sing a song dedicated to your elders, ancestors, or descendants as an intentional message of gratitude or hope.
